Newbie Natural Hairstyles: Braided UpdoHello Newbie Naturals, A Braided updo is quick and simple but first I've really missed you! I had to take my hands off of a couple of things to see about my mother who's miles away from where I live. Anyway, here's a cute and simple protective style for the summer. My sista/friend Sann Lomax laid hands on my head. We have that bond where if we don't talk to one another for days we'll talk for hours and bounce ideas off each other with out being spiteful women once we're reunite. To achieve this style I simply explained to her that I wanted my hair braided up with a bun. Well, one bun turned into two because of the thickness of my hair! Lol, but I enjoyed this style that much more. I purchased two packs of kanekalon hair for the buns and moisturized with Coconut oil after I washed my hair. I did this so that my scalp wouldn't have that dry, itchy thing going on two days later. If you wrap and moisturize your hair this style should last two or three weeks.
